Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect personal data submitted through this website.

Last updated: 6 July 2026

adab ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what your rights are.

What we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect:

  • Your full name
  • Your company or organisation name (optional)
  • Your email address
  • The nature of your enquiry (selected from a list)
  • The message you provide

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to communicate with you about it. Our legal basis for processing this data under UK GDPR is legitimate interest — responding to enquiries sent to us is a reasonable and expected part of running our business. We do not use your data for marketing unless you separately and clearly opt in, and we do not sell or share it with third parties except as described below.

How it's stored, and where

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., our website hosting provider, acting as a data processor on our behalf. Netlify is a US-based company; where personal data is transferred outside the UK, this is covered by Netlify's Data Processing Agreement and their certification under the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, with standard contractual clauses as a fallback mechanism.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use analytics or tracking cookies. We use Google Fonts for typography and a Google Maps embed on our Contact page for display purposes; these may load resources from Google's servers when you visit those pages.

How long we keep it

We retain contact form submissions for 12 months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct or delete it
  • Object to our processing of your data, since we rely on legitimate interest rather than consent — if you object, we will stop unless we have a compelling legitimate reason to continue

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@adab.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been mishandled.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
